I have my seats out of the sequoia and somehow one of the spring arms popped up and locked.

Can't put seat back in. Only up on one side. Have tried every combination of levers and nothing released this so it will come down - any suggestions?

it will probably be a 2 person job, someone will have to put pressure against the latch while pulling the appropriate lever.

Yep, same thing happened on a buddies 1st gen and it took both of us to get the SOB back into position.

Fixed it - a couple of times

So yes this is a two man job unless you have three arms. I am adding closure to this thread in case any one else finds this thread searching for a solution. The best advice is to quickly remove the plasic that covers the latch mechanism (couple screws) so you can see what you are looking at - then do the same on the seat that didn't spring when removed. You will be able to tell what has rotated and needs to be held back. Also a small tool with a right angle or hook on the end so you can pull againt the latch works better than pushing with a screwdriver.
