I know I may regret this, but I am selling my 00 LX470 (aka Big Bertha).
She currently has 317,xxx driven daily so that will change.
Currently has no mechanical issues, we use her to haul the family to soccer games and road trips.
$4650
History
Purchased three years ago at 25X,000 miles, at a used car lot. I found information on the previous owners and contacted them. She was serviced at their local Lexus dealer most of her life.
I have lots of records from Lexus and some documentation from the time she has been with me.
The major stuff ( timing belt, water pump, plugs, etc, were done by Lexus at 216k. The dealer where I bought her stated that the water pump was faulty when they picked it up at the auction so they replaced timing belt and water pump at about 250k, they did not use oem parts.
Since I bought her the following has been done.
Drain and fill AWD fluids ( at Lexus dealer)
Rear brake pads ( Lexus )
Replaced radiator with KOYO radiator using Toyota Red mix.
Replaced Plastic Ts
Replaced serpentine belt and tensioner using Toyota parts
Front pads AKEBONO
Alternator (Denso 5k miles ago)
New Battery (3k miles ago)
cabin filter
Air filters every 12k
Oil changes Mobil1 and only OEM oil filters
AT tires have maybe 10k miles on them
The AHC still adjust, the ride is fair.
She has been super reliable and I am sure has lots of life left. Has never given us any issues.
The negatives are mostly cosmetic, has some damage in passenger rear, scratches, couple of dents and interior can use a good clean. Still cleans up very well.
She starts right up, idles perfect, and drives like a tank.
I am in no hurry to sell her, but my oldest will soon be driving and she wont be used as much.
