I am trying to see if I am getting power to my ECU and I can't find the past post to the page in my FSM that shows which terminal on the harness going into the ECU is power. Much time spent trying to refine pic I though I saved but if you don't label the search exactly the same you don't get the...
Slight correction for those who have seen my previous posts this 40 series is a 1968 model though I think 68 and 69 are probably identical, moving on. I am trying to get the wiring done for the wiper and washer motor and completely fumbled by not taking pictures as soon as I removed the...
I needed a larger resevoir to go with the hydto assist kit, also nice to have one that leaks less then oem with a new cap.

Working on a full kit for hydro assist.
These are the brackets
I used a 1in ram like @dirtlifestylenate did and love it. Smaller ram means...
I could use some help. My 2000 will sporadically lose power, accelerator does not respond, the check eng and vac lights come on. Cycling the key restores power ,but lights stay on for a variable time and then eventually go off.
My passenger front window has an issue I can't figure out. It works one time then stops quarter of the way and works again if unplugged and plugged back in. Attached is a youtube link to a short video I took of the issue. I've replaced the motor, switch and drivers master switch. All other...
So I'm running a TD04L-13T on my 1986 2lt. I'm sure some of you have been following my build log for a while now.
I'm a little fed up with this little engine. I can't keep up with anything going up the hills to the lakes in the mountains, even my friends with 22r lifted trucks. I was barely...
The 3FE is factory rated at 155 horsepower and 220 ft lbs of torque, the 2F is rated at 135 horsepower and 200 ft lbs of torque. I understand that the 2FE bumps compression, but how much more power/ torque would it make over a 3FE?
Is there something sensible to get this off of, or do I need to relay something off the battery? I'm putting a blue sea fuse panel under there for my light bars, locker relay, etc. I want to get rid of all the fuse taps that I can.
Hey folks, so I've been working out the kinks on my recently purchased 80 series and the power antenna is the last thing that isn't working. I'm able to get it to extend and retract using alligator clips directly to the battery but nothing from the inside gets it going. When I first started...
I am about to change out my power steering pump on my 91 3fe. I was going to use the reservoir that is on it now. Is there an o-ring on the bottom of the reservoir that I will need to replace, and if so is there a link to get it? Thanks
I installed a Scheel-Mann driver seat with heaters and I'm looking for a switched power source to use with the provided seat wiring harness. The harness contains a relay that sits under the seat where the harness connects to the seat heaters and only has a red and black wire for power. There is...
G'day Guys I've got a small issue and looking for a solution, I have got a 75 series Landcruiser and the accessory's (eg radio, sig lighter and UHF) stay on 24/7 even with the key off and out of the ignition. If you pull the sig fuse out of the drivers kick panel all accessory's do turn off...
So my 62 had been sitting a couple weeks and the battery died, jumped it and noticed the radio no longer works. The backlight comes on and I hear a click when it powers on but I get no audio. Last time I drove it I remember it working and even the display partially working, but no it only has...
I have check engine light with loss of power and rough engine. Check engine light with code misfire on cylinder 3. This only happens when driving on interstate 65-70 mph. The truck will recover and run normal below 60 mph. I plan to replace plug and wire. Any other suggestions? Thanks
I just replaced to antenna mast(amazon purchase) and when to mast retracts the motor continues to run for 15-20 seconds with noise that sound like to teeth a jumping. I pulled the new mast back out and the teeth all look good.
Any suggestions before I switch to a stubby?
After reading through a few posts and not really finding any definitive answers, I thought I should just make a post and ask. I have a 98 lx470 that recently developed a loss of power or maybe a bad ground to the climate control unit. Both the temperature sensor for outside temp and the climate...
