Hi all,
Currently stripping my HJ47 Ute back to it's frame and am checking it over for squareness. Pretty new to this and unfortunately the second frame I had which I was hoping to use has far too much internal rust to consider it so I'm trying to seek some advice on how bad the frame I have is...

Well looks like I finally got hit, I was parked and the guy ran but got him tracked down.
Is the damage bad enough to where it could have hurt the frame, and are there any other things I should check out? Also, can I use this as an opportunity to get ARB in the rear???;)
Let me know the best...
What would be the cause, or is this typical of the 100 series to have some rust developing at the top edge of the windshield, and in that roof gutter that has the plastic strip?
Rest of the vehicle is rust free including the frame, driveline, and suspension components.
I have brand new Trail Tailor C channel reinforcement kit for a FJ60, never installed. I will sell for 220$ and you pay shipping. I'll do PayPal goods and services if you add the 3% or Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle. I will get some pictures asap
I just scored a 1977 chinook that is pretty cheery. I really want to SAS it. Can you SAS the 1977 2wd frame? I have everything to do a SAS for a 87. . Ill leave it alone if I have to swap the frame
Hello, I just removed the frame weight from my 2002 LX. It was just flopping around, the bushings are completely shot. It was located below the passenger door. Does it do anything? Is it worth keeping? I would need to find some kind of rebuild kit. Based on my research this part is...
Still searching for one of these, the discussion below didn't pan out.
Hello, I'm searching for an LX470 rear frame crossmember, specifically the one that includes the integral receiver hitch mounting. Hopefully someone cut theirs out to install a heavy duty bumper and it's collecting dust in...
Hey guys,
I was just looking at my alignment and I pulled the ol' string method to see what the tow and camber looked like. It appears that the frame is bent, but before I get bent out of shape I wanted to see if anyone has some useful input for me. I've had this thing aligned several times over...
I live in a part of the country that sees a lot of rust - so I want to ask the pros their opinion on this undercarriage. Looking at buying this southern owned truck it’s entire life but is honestly too clean and appears to have too much consistency between the frame and fasteners. Please let me...
Hey everyone starting a new build thread here, recently I have really began to accumulate and build 2.5 ton Deuces, I got a crazy idea the other day while pulling parts off of my "parts" Deuce to pull the cab, swap a 12 valve cummins in and set an 86 yota cab on the frame. I already have a 12...
Hey Land Cruiser Guru's
I'm in need of a little help.
I'm head deep into a 1988 FJ62 build. I've started to head down the frame swap road - I had been looking at a fj80 chassis, but with where the part out is and where my build is, timing isn't working out.
SO.....
Anyone happen to have a...
Need some advice on a hole that I found on my frame. Gotta love rust belt trucks :frown:
I took it to a local body shop who dug into it and ultimately decided against welding to repair it. Apparently the previous owner attempted past repairs with epoxy. The shop’s suggesting I find a new...
Before I cut for scrap wanted to see if anyone needed a FZJ 80 frame, free if anyone wants to take it away. The rear is crusty but with a media blast and chassis paint could be good as newish.
I am selling an FZJ80 Frame and Rear Axle. Straight/clean. Located in Austin, TX. I was going to use for an FJ60, but am selling that project now. -Brent
