I know it has been done before, so for those who know about it what needs to be done to make the 80 series frame/chassis work with the 60 series body? I understand that the frame needs to be shortened but by how much and do you take a chunk out from the center or the rear.
I was checking out the front end of my cruiser in preparation for adding recovery points or an aftermarket bumper and I noticed what look like cut off brackets on the inner side of each frame horn. Any idea what these were from? I am assuming that they weren't factory.
My 1977 FJ40 has a slight bend in the right rear corner. Do you think this can be straightened out? If so, what would be the best way to go about it? The frame is completely stripped at this point.
