Found a 1972 fj55 it’s pretty solid and definitely original, original Runs and drives . It’s a bit sun burnt from the sun. Not sure of mileage. The question is what is it worth I honestly don’t know .
Has anyone put a 80 series wheel on a 73-74 55? Wondering how it finishes out. Any strange gaps or issues? There are some really good condition ones on eBay, I like how they are simple, stay in the family brand, just wanted to see opinions before I throw down the money.
Hello, I'm new here and thought I'd give this a try. Trying to resurrect a 1970 Iron Pig shell. Anyone have a WORKING rear tailgate window motor and regulator for a 1971 FJ55 for sale? Your help is appreciated. Thanks!
Hard to be ectastic about acquiring Chris Delancy's prized show pig after the circumstances. However, I think Chris probably approved and was smiling down on me with my shyt eating grin a little while cruising down the highway effortlessly.
Little back story here, as Chris was still doing...
Not mine. I have enough projects, but it's sure tempting. Please save me from myself. Six hunnert bux. Buy it with the intent to flip or part out and the Cruiser gods will command vermin to infest your privates for eternity. Just sayin'.

I don't know if anyone is still interested in the subject of turn signal relays, but I couldn't find a replacement for my '74 FJ55 relay so I bought two that are for an older Celica part number 81980-22070 on Amazon for pretty cheap, and hooked them up and they worked which was a pleasant...
Drove this little jewel to a show at the Irvine Amphitheater. I don't know how long ago. All I remember was a flat bed tow company guy escorted me in the last mile or so with all his lights going. The parking lot party was classic.
So per request, weird Firepig stuff. 1st pic is the odd PB booster and the PTO Governor. Second is the PB booster line connection to the intake manifold. Third pic is part of the oil cooler. It has an in and out line that runs to the oil pan, which has an oil cooler built in to it. Weird stuff!
I've decided to sell the 73 body I was going to transfer to my 70 rig. after doing a few 40s and replacing my roof on my 55, 25 years ago, I don't like doing it. It's dirty, it takes to long, I don't really have the space to do bodywork and I'm getting to old to make it worth the swap..

Many pictures to come over the coming wk.

I have these listed in the FJ55 Classifieds but thought they might get some additional interest here.

Hard to find! This is a Downey Offroad air filter. Filter will need to be replaced. Downey was a premier Jeep/Land Cruiser/Offroad shop back in the day that made high quality products. Fits F and 2F gas engines...

Decided to share my 55 trailer build. So here we go:
Matt (@DirtDauberGarage) and I went in on a parts 55 to assist with restoring our own 55's. (Mine is not-so-cleverly named Moose). We divided up the parts we needed and then sold or gave away the parts we did not need.
And this is what we...
Returning to the FJ ownership world after a long hiatus. Purchased an 73 FJ55 with my 16 year old and we are looking for Winch Extensions.
Open to buying a set or rent/borrow a set to fabricate my own.
Or if there are insights into how to mount a mount an M8247 without a set it would be...
