1969 FJ55 $9,000
PRICE REDUCED
F145 engine, runs good
Weber carb, also runs good
DUI ignition
Everything else is stock original (with some repairs)
New things in no particular order:
Water pump aftermarket
Thermostat Toyota OEM
Thermostat housing (s) Toyota OEM
Every single water hose and clamps Aftermarket
Fan belt Toyota OEM
Fuse block (Blue Sea blade fuse type)
Oil Pressure sender Toyota OEM
Water Temp sender Toyota OEM
Radiator cap Toyota OEM
Rear window gear 3D printed
Rear window wiring block Toyota OEM
Front and and rear seats completely stripped and cleaned. Reused old springs. All new foam and vinyl from SOR.
Spark plug wires NAPA aftermarket
Fuel pump aftermarket
Rear wiring repaired for fuel tank and rear lights
Engine compartment wiring repaired where needed
Rear heater removed, cleaned, reassembled, tested. New heater hoses.
Oil change and WIX large oil filter (I couldn't find any OEM Toyota ones any longer that weren't stupid money)
Things that work:
It runs
It drives
It stops
It steers
The horn, fuel gauge, water temp, oil pressure, and AMP gauge all work.
Dome light
Headlights (the KOITO original has high beam only), other headlight is aftermarket and does work
Turn signals
Wipers
I removed and serviced the rear window regulator as well as the rear tailgate hardware. Tailgate latches and works fine.
The brakes work, as well as a single-circuit unboosted system can anyway. No leaks, I've flushed them twice and bled them as well. I'm sure they could be adjusted, I haven't looked at the shoes or anything. The parking brake does not work.
Clutch hydraulics are OK too. Flushed and bled and it works.
Things that don't work:
Parking brake. There's no adjuster bolt not sure what happened. I have not explored further.
Some of the exterior lights
Rear window motor, it tests as shorted and does not run.
Not sure about the heater fans.
Other things:
Headliner was crusty and falling off, I removed everything. As were the door panels, removed most of it. The windows go up and down and the doors all lock.
Typical dash cracks. Glovebox door is gone, I do have the metal piece with the shifting diagrams.
I have the original key as well.
Selling because I don't need another project and want to get my 67 FJ40 going.
Clear title in my name ready to go.
Asking price $10,500
