As if I don't have enough on my plate, let alone enough LC's, I bought this project! 1972 FJ55, running SBC, minimal rust... I'll keep the progress updated.

In order to use the stock emergency brake on my upgraded 55, is it possible to use the three speed brake assy on a newer FJ40 4spd? fj55 pict note the brake cable is on the passenger side vs a newer 4spd has the cable on driver side pointing in opposite direction.

Not affiliated but did test drive today with seller. No CL posting etc. unknown mileage on motor/body. Runs and drives and stops. Just in a bit more of a project state for me. Seller was quick to respond to phone and show vehicle for test drive. Ross

Don't find pigs like this much anymore. Engine runs great. Factory 3 speed. I drive it mostly every weekend to the beach. Hate to sell it but have bills to pay. Get it while you can.

Looks like my two door locks are messed up. I can put any key in them and they open. Has anyone come up with a work around or replacement tumbler?

Found a 1972 fj55 it’s pretty solid and definitely original, original Runs and drives . It’s a bit sun burnt from the sun. Not sure of mileage. The question is what is it worth I honestly don’t know .
