electrical gremlins

Purchased an 80. I’ve been having problems with getting this wiper to function correctly for my roadworthy certificate in Australia. It seems to only be doing half the action per time. I’ve tried 3 motors and all do the same thing. I’ve attached a video that I have uploaded to YouTube.

If my google-fu is not up to the task, I apologize. Anyway, my high-beams quit working last summer. They are not blown. If I pull the stick in, the high-beams both come on, along with the blue high-beam indicator on the dash. But, no joy when the switch is pushed forward to the normal...
