I got a big ole crack in my exhaust manifold. I have 77' FJ40 (10/76 build date) California model. According to SOR, there is a special intake/exhaust manifold just for us poor California saps. Anyone have an extra lying around they would be willing to sell?

Hi, I got a 79 FJ40 in parts yesterday. The PO Got it to use the axels but never did. He mentioned that the guy he got it from just got the 2F rebuilt. Now here is the ? And problem, because he was just going to use the axels the just lest the driveline outside for 6 years. So how can I know...

I'm struggling with finding piston which I know is common. But if you have a source besides the idiots in eBay who do not actually have what they list.... Or have's set of pistons you can let go. Please let me know. This engine build is quickly becoming a headache

I got this engine with my 83 FJ60. The #6 rod spun the bearing and damaged the crank journal. I was thinking of a rebuild for a 2FE project but don't know if this is early pre 85 block or 85 up block?

I did a search to see if anyone has posted more details about swapping out a F engine with a 2F but I was unable to locate anything. (Maybe I was using the wrong description.) Does anyone know of a thread that goes into the details of the swap?

Is the "Gas Filter" vacuum fitting thingy (tri-pipe) that screws into the intake manifold a one way air fitting? Or can air flow through it in both directions?
