Hey guys, I'm swapping out my Weber for a Trollhole carb and I need a carb insulator. It's a Jan. '76 2F motor. Let me know if anyone has one.
Thanks,
Darren
Hey, so some of you have been following my posting on building up my 87 fj60. Last night as I was prepping the frame for the repair I noticed something that raised some red flags (and maybe it's not a problem.).
The engine says 2F on the valve cover but the bellhousing has 3F stamped on it. I...
I'm thinking of purchasing an FJ60 that needs a complete rebuild. Closest reputable shop quoted me $5,100 to rebuild + $1,500 labor. I'd really appreciate some feedback on that pricing. For that amount, I'd almost rather step up to a LS3 swap.
Making the change to diesel by installing a 1HZ with a H55 trans into my 86 FJ60. Any one out that has done this conversion... any advice or suggestions are welcome.

looking for a lightly used (and hopefully still within the allowed tolerances) camshaft, timing cover and the water pump pulley for a clutch fan setup. Thanks everyone!
Just trying to see what's out there. I've got a decent motor in my 40 right now, although the compression numbers are low. Let me know what you've got and I'll see if we can work out a deal.
I have a stock carb from an '86 2F for sale. It was rebuilt by the previous owner of the engine, and it could use some fine tuning. I removed it to replace it with a desmogged version.
