1hz white smoke

My car’s 1HZ makes white smoke come out of exhaust on cranking but once it starts up and running, the white smoke disappears. What does white smoke on start up indicate? When running on the road there is no white or black smoke coming out of exhaust, even when I drive it hard. Thanks!
