Hey folks,

I'm selling my 88fj62.PA 18707.

I'll do the good, the bad, and show you the ugly(pics below). My only reasons for selling
it , I need a larger vehicle. I just cannot fit the family, 3 kids dog, wife. I'll do my best to descibe the vehicle in detail.

This is a used vehicle and is being sold as is. I would trust this vehicle to drive just about anywhere. It is my Daily Driver and family go getter.

Good:
It has 270K runs exelent shifts solid. Starts every time. I have a spare distirbuter, and the original wheels and caps. All windows work, one lock is slow when cold. Blows Ice cold AC in summer, Interior is in good shape. A small wear tear on drivers seat, and small hole in rear seat. I have the original radio and will include the Kit to instal a normal radio.

Everything works The antenna has trouble at the last section up/down but works.
The floors are solid and it passed emmisions and is currently inspected till 10/06. New rear brakes newer front brakes. 31x10.50x15 's. It has a class 3 hitch and is wired for it. I cannot find any excessive rust on the frame or undercarriage. 4wd works exelent.
I had extreme shackles installed +1" ??

Bad:
It needs a good cleaning interior. It has some minor rust issues look at the pics. Both rear Quarters, tail gate and hatch. a spot on pass side it started with the lower molding. On the front Pass. spring pack the two lowest leaves are broken only on the back side. This must have happened quite a while ago I am unable to tell that there was a problem there(no lean). I have two new leafs for it. Both Sway bars are disconnected. The rear pass side mount needs to be reattached, front pass needs the link.(fixed) I prefer them off. Occasionaly it will puff some grey smoke at start up for a few seconds. It does leak a little oil from the rear of the oil pan area. Occasionally after driving it for 1/2hr+ sometimes it will go into reverse hard(thud).

Here's the ugly:

I'd come up to Wilkes-Barre to take a look. 2 hrs from Phila yea? If not this weekend then it would have to be Feb 10, 11 or 12.
reply to pacer22 at gmail.com when you get a chance.
Thanks.

Well, it now has a new 10-07 sticker and emission to boot.
I've "fixed" the rust issues. I cut out the old and with the magic of fiberglass and bondo cleaned it up. not my best work but presentable. I also addressed the tailgate issues. Both were treated with rust converter and rattle canned with xo-rust flat black. Even the wife say's "looks better" I ran a line 3" stripe/line around the wells and along the bottom.

It has a new walker exhaust from the cat back. It will have 4 new brakes they are already bought. I will be putting them on this weekend.

It has the orig wheels and a like new set of dakota's up front and bfgs in the rear.

I'll have pics tomorrow.

Well the solenoid for the 4wd is good it just neeed to be engaged a few time and all is working. The hand throttle was on a little so I was getting a higher idle causing the truck to go into rev hard sometimes fixed now.

I don't see why not. As long as you keep gas in it.

Hmm, curious when I read your post the first thing that came to my mind was that's a lot of gas not will it make it. I guess there's something to be said about the reliability of these cruisers....

I honestly, would without hesitation.

No it drive fine does not go into reverse while driving. What I mean was that: after I drove for a while when I would stop to back into a parking spot it would go into reverse kinda hard. What I believe was wrong was the idle was to high. I was playing with the hand throttle and I guess it did not go all the way in. Since I got it all the way in I have not expierenced this issue.

The closest airport to me is airport in avoca . (wilkes-barre/Scranton international) Not sure of the correct name. It's about a 1/2 hour from me right off I81.

I'd deliver it, I'd like some sort of deposit and we'd have to work out the timing. I will take more pics if you wish. I don't want you supprised, although I believe I represented it fairly well.

My email is: bob(dot)murawski(at)yahoo.com I'll get you my cell # if we're ready for that.
