fresh toyota red coolant that is.....Gotta love hooking up 3' of extensions for an easy in over the drivers side tire access to the block drain.....Next up oil change....that is all....

I was at the toyo dealership yesterday. All the toyota red they had was already premix 50/50, I guess you would call it toyo "pink". It said not to dilute it. Has anyone else seen or better used this stuff? I wanted to check here b4 I bought it. Didnt get a price on it.

Did you flush, or just drain?

I hooked up the prestone flush kit and flushed heater core and all. Then refilled with Toy red. Get a good warm-fuzzy feeling knowing there was no sludge and the system is good to go.

In my opinion that a bummer to sell the dilute formula only ...Anyhow I flushed and drained 3X with tap water and then used Red (label specified mixing) with distilled water....

I wasn't aware Toyota offered Red coolant in a 50/50 premix. I did notice Prestone offered full-strength and 50/50 jugs- $2. price diff. They (Pres) also really promote the assured safe "mixibility" of any color coolant: green, yellow, orange or red. I'm of the mindset that you make every effort to stick with one particula formula but not as critical as some might think. Distilled water always the rule.

I used the 50/50 last time. I had it shipped greyhound to where I live. They did not tell me it was a 50/50 mix when I asked for toyota red. I was PISSED because I had to get more shipped by greyhound AGAIN.
not so cheers,
Sean

DO NOT use the pre-mix in vehicles not originally specified.....IE the 80.

F%#@. Why.
