Anyone near Sacremento to look at FJ60?

I am interested in an FJ60 for sale in Sacremento. I unfortunately live all the way in Tucson, AZ and was wondering if someone familiar with the 60 series was able to look it over for me before I made the trek out there.

My buddy bought his from a guy near Sacramento, I think the place was called Rocklin. Or Rockland. I don't know. Anyways, the guy was a complete asshat. He had an LX470 and an FJ62. Here is some dialog from the trip to test drive it.

Me: "So do you do any offroading or anything"

The guy: "No, I tow boats, that's what these things are made for."


My friend: "Yeah, I used to have a 4Runner, but I flipped it."

The guy: "Oh, 4Runners are s*** anyway, nobody wants those, the headgaskets go out on you at like 75k miles."

Cept the guy had a first gen 4Runner sitting in his backyard.



Very uneducated about pretty much everything that ever had to do with anything.



So don't buy it if it's from a guy in Rocklin.

No, I don't believe it is. I'm pretty sure it's a private one owner. Besides, this is an 87 FJ60 i'm looking at. Any ideas or suggestions as to who I might trust to go look at this thing?
