Since 2bad didnt have some good pics under his new business name Solid Rock Off Road, I am posting up pics of my new sliders.

tclndcrz did a great writeup of the install of these sliders. That writeup helped me put mine on. It can be found here.

Anyways I primered them using a Rustoleum primer and used a Rustoleum fine textured black, all of which I found at Walmart. I didn't want straight black because I knew someone would stand on these things. The texture is like 150 - 200 grain sand paper.

I went through 2 cans of primer (3 medium coats) and 3 cans of black (3 medium coats and 1 final touch up)

Its actually my girlfriends dad's garage. He keeps that thing spotless. I felt bad bc the cruiser dropped oil goo and grease while I was under there messing with things. After some degreasing and powerwashing I got it back to his normal. That floor is nice to roll around and lay on though.

I was gonna say, it must be nice to have a clean garage floor. I can't step into mine without risking my life.:eek::o

calphi27 nice however its not the cruiser or the garrage floor that peek my interest it's the racks on the walls can't tell if there all elk ot if u got soem bucks in there 2?

it is an assortment of antlers. It is my girlfriends dads collection. There are deer, elk, mule deer, and antelope horns there. There is probably 30 years worth of antlers there.

I have been elk hunting with him for the past two years, both muzzle loader and rifle seasons. It has been a blast.
 
yeah it's a good time i try to spend as much time in the woods as possible especially during season

As you can see from the pic, the bad thing about the sand paper like paint on these is that it traps dust like a magnet.
