SOLD.

Time to sell my other 13BT now that my conversion is complete and running well. Serious buyers are welcome to test drive my truck to see if this is what they really want to do.....but I have no doubt you'll love it.

Here is what it is off the top of my head:

Red block 13BT factory turbo 4 cylinder diesel with 5spd transmission, vacuum split case, a/c compressor, power steering pump, motor mounts, 5spd shifter, etc.
Motor is currently set up for 24v, but the swap to 12v is VERY easy. I converted mine with all toyota parts available from US models.
Motor came from a running/driving truck in Japan, and can be bench run for you if you wish. I have no compression figures because of the direct injection (requires a very special tool specific to this motor)

Also available for your conversion for a little cashola.
Wiring harness 90% there from a BJ71
Radiator and shroud from a BJ71
Brand new shifter for LHD
a/c condensor(s)
pulley driven vacuum pump

Item is located in North Carolina
Shipping can be arranged at buyer's expense.

Forgot....it has 160,000 km on it.

May also mention that this motor started from cold with snow on the ground with no problem.....

Hard to say, I have actually driven it very little where mileage is measurable.
I got it running just a few days before GSMTR, towed it 6 hours to GSMTR, then drove it around from Wednesday to Saturday night, and only burned half a tank. (7 gallons)
GSMTR included 8 trips back and forth on trail 1 from Crawfords (30 min each way?), actual trail riding each day, and one trip into murphy for "supplies". ;) I had my foot in it most of the trail 1 and murphy trip, but it was at idle on the trails for the most part.
At some point on Saturday, my friend mentioned my brake lights were out, so I didn't drive it again until I looked into it. I finally found where the rear wiring harness was rotten on the INSIDE just two days ago. I need to make another harness, so until then, I won't drive it again on the street. I'd like to fill a tank and take a trip where I know the mileage from GPS or mapquest, because my speedo is a bit off with 33's.
There's a long answer to a short question. My guess would be 22 on average, but I just do too much low speed start and stop stuff to say for sure yet.

Silly question... ball park weight for the whole thing???

(I probably don't really want to know this answer... but I'll take a stab at it)

Thanks bud and good luck

I'm in winston-salem...so you are CLOSE. :)
With the crate and everything, I think it's about 1,000lbs.
I think I was told the 1hz with crate was 1200 when I shipped that one.

Deal pending....

I own a BJ40 with a 13b-t engineand 5sp trans imported from Costa Rica. I live in Winston Salem. Can you tell me who you hired to do repairs on your BJ? I'm looking for a local and knowledgeable mechanic...
