I bought this from Japan for $350.00 (from Mot). It its absolutely the coolest mod I have ever done and hate to get rid of it....with regret, I am going for a new look on my 80. These are Steel grill guards and fit fight over the headlight with existing screw holes in the front grill and under the hood. No other Landcruiser in America has these.
Painted in Emerald Green 6M1, you will have to screw THREE tiny holes on the side on the fender. The Drivers side is "tweaked" ever so slightly..making it crooked about 1/4 inch. I assure you it is barely noticeable.
I live in Dallas and it is paintable.
