I had to share some ego flix of the rig in a natural environment.
Enjoy.
1). Gatineau Park, Quebec.
2). At the foot of Mount St. Anne, Quebec.
3). Motel in Ottawa, 1st morning away.

Slowy slowster

I sure could've used a turbo on this trip.
1). Packin' up after sleeping in the truck in a parking lot somewhere between Trois Rivières and Quebec City(everything goes into the front seats at 3 am).
2). Camping on the Ile D'Orlean, Quebec.
3). I'm a goof.

I try to PM you 2 or 3 time... You pass by my home and you did not stop.

Come on... and you PM me first !

Hope I will find another Cruiserhead to drink all the beer left in my cooler !

PS : Hope you enjoy your trip anyway !

Oh no my friend, it's not like that!
I was scrambling to get out of town when I saw your e-mail address from your PM and did not have time to wait for a reply.

I was off-line the whole trip(as one should be), and it was not until I returned that I saw your PMs that had your phone number.

I am sorry I missed you, but if it makes you feel any better, here's a photo of my girl and I in the Rig of Mortis beside a recognizable building at the main highway intersection in your hometown! I made the effort, but at that time I did not have your phone number (I so wish I had it, as I was right there).

Damn! I'm thirsty now.

I even had a guy in a Chevy pick-up truck riding so close to my ass I could fog up his windsheild with a fart - He gave me a huge thumbs up as he passed me.

hey dude .. congrats .. I'm so jelaous .. it's a really nice trip . ! I love those ..

also you Cruiser looks very very nice ..

Nice pix and sweeeeeeeeeeet rig!

Kind of OT... but, how big a pain is it to get the bikes up and down? I'm fixing to buy a bike and think the roof rack is the place to put it.... I'm 6'5" and worry about being able to get it up and down off the 7 foot high roof without carrying a ladder.

Nice rig and killer vacation...

I carry a little non-folding Rubbermaid® 2-step (I bought at Wal-Mart) around with me in the back seat and open the door, using the door-sill as a step and since the bikes are located close to the edge of the rack they are easy-ish to load and unload, and since you are 6'5" you can make it look easy.

The high point of the bikes on that roof-rack was/is 10' most highway bridges are 13'6".

PS. The 2-step also doubles as a good seat when you're stoking a campfire!

Just a quick note for those who are forgetful. I hang one of my gloves from the RV mirror when my bike is on top so I dont pull through an overhang at a drive through and rip them off the top. The glove is right there in my line of sight to remind me. The price of bikes these days you can have more on top than the car is worth.

Glove is an awsome plan. I've been trying all kinda of things to get my girl to remember the bikes are up there. The sight and smell of that ole thing outta do the trick :D

2 steps or not... I'm still impressed

No kidding.... bikes are $$$$. That would be my biggest fear with the roof rack. I don't have a hitch so that is out and it will severely limit cargo space throwing it in the back.

Love the obligatory SAAQ photo!

That thing is huge. I can't believe those are 37s. They look tiny. Wow.

If ever you find yourself in Ottawa again I would love to drool over that thing. You should come out to one of the True North Land Cruiser runs!

edit: Holy S&*( you don't have a turbo! How is it on the highway with that much rubber?

Cheers,
