2” Heavy/heavy Ome lift. Without anything heavy in the truck. Is more like 3”. I figure when I add the winch bumper and tire carrier it will settle out a bit.
Yep, 315’s, stock gears. Drives fine. I don’t off road much so ok so far.

Just realized I never posted the final result. Here it is from a a few months back. Using a small roller, I rolled in raptor liner a few inches up the door. It hen hosed the whole thing down with fluid film inside and out.
I did some similar work on my 80, posted it in the what did you do this weekend thread. If you check my posts you can see some of the work there.
Rocker work
Take a look at where your seat belt bolts in. You may be in for a surprise. If so fix that too! I think only one side was bad in mine...
A little bondo and some primer. And it looks pretty good. I was not able to keep that factory seam but I bet no one will notice. Waiting in raptor liner to blend it all together. I suppose I should do the other side while I’m at it here. This is good practice for my super rusty ‘60.

Installing the...

Anyway… getting there. Rebuilt the...
Alright! Awesome feedback.
I will take it apart tonight or tomorrow and will report back if that’s what happened and I’ll add a photo for the next person.
Lesson learned!
Thank you!!

Watch this guy, lots of good info
I dont think it’s terrible, just don’t think it will come out looking like a show truck. And… if you don’t already know how to weld, now is a good time to learn.
There are no weld options too, but...
Has anyone pinch the o ring on the oil cover when installing? After a marathon of replacing all the coolant and vacuum hoses, front main seal and even new injectors. I started the motor and was greeted with oil hemorging out of the top of the cover. The good news is that my check engine light...
