Guys-
Does anyone know the part number or name of the plastic support bracket off of the oil dipstick?
Had mine, but it broke off and my searching skills haven't found the part number to order.
And add me to the group. Topper was some idiot tried screwdrivering my door lock when I took the kids mountain biking yesterday. UGH.
Looking to do some short fills until I can source the parts to do this correctly. Surprised Toyota hasn't had a recall on this.
Any ideas on removing the nut on the larger post in the junction box? Seems the last mechanic tightened it with an impact gun.
Can't get torque to hold the box and then to loosen the nut. One or the other.
For me it only did service that I had performed. Even though my dad owned it before hand. I wonder if it only finds records via current address or name. But then the OP wouldn't have found his info.
Saw your 80 there today. That beast is nice. They were tearing into your front axle when I stopped by. Dig the passenger grab bar.
Do you work in Sandy Springs? I ask because I have seen an 80 like yours over off of Glenlake.
I had the exact same symptoms that you describe and it was the POS alarm that the PO installed. It was the wire from the ignition to the starter, it was spliced with a cable for the no start feature of the alarm. That crimped cable would short out, and then work. Very frustrating........
The middle pic.........Why do you tie your cooler to bed of your cruiser? Oh just wait, with a wink.
I would love to do that ride, driving someone else's cruiser. :)
