There was no criminal intent to scam anyone.
But there is a good way to go about it, & there is what Joey did. Radio silence, he should have, at the least, spoken to people financially involved, about the unfortunate outcome.

Prior to the symptoms I had an A/C line replaced. The one that runs along the passenger side of engine, closest to the turbo downpipe & O2 sensors replaced.

I would have inquired in the turbo gauges thread, but Wits End pissed everyone off & all the comments to that thread derailed it & it is now locked.
Anyways, currently running the JRP 14in1 gauge in the LX450 with the turbo kit that’s now gone extinct.

Are you speaking of the head temp sensor?
I’m having idle issues as well. Just replaced the head temp sensor & still the issue persists.

My rig is very similar to yours, in every aspect of a build out.
The poor milage is only one of many symptoms I’m currently experiencing though.
The rig is practically un-drivable & totally unreliable after it’s now 3rd time in the shop.
I can’t provide those numbers, it’s already back at the shop for them to look into.
It did seem to degrade over time. I originally took it to the shop to replace the O2 sensors as those were the codes popping up.
It took me a while to get it back into the shop due to my Subaru turbo build...
Turbo was installed in 2019. Many years ago.
I was the very first turbo kit Wits End produced to market.
Instructions, at the time, were still being completed & there were a few parts that were incorrect in the kit, but it was quickly rectified.
I drove it a long time without issue...

There are only so many refineries. Especially true in California with our “special formula”.

I am running 91 octane & have been for several years after my turbo install.
I don’t have the torque app, but do have some numbers via the ScanGauge II and JRP 14in1 gauge.
I did not try that hack this weekend.
It’ll be going back to the shop today though. They can diagnose, fix, or perform any such wizardry they need to correct this problem.

Test #3:
Stayed in open loop.
AFR’s the same as test #1 also.
I did turn it off at a red signal, restated, & it went back to closed loop & normal AFR’s.
So very strange.
I’ll get it on a battery tender in the morning.
Road test #2.
Engine is coming out of open loop & into closed loop.
AFR’s are looking way better. 17’s at idle & 14.5-15 at throttle.
I did get the surging RPM’s, while in drive, at idle/red signal light. Engine did stall itself this time.

I did some around town driving. Checking gauges (OEM, ScanGauge II, & JRP 14in1), some observations:
Operating temp about 150-155 degrees.
Open Loop ALL the time.
AFR is at 20.0 (max of gauge) at idle & off throttle. Mid 17’s at 2000 RPM’s. Lowest it got was 16.8.
