    snorkel in a carwash

If any water made it into the snorkel, it would only get as far as the air filter housing where gravity would pull it down to the catch drain. If you've never seen that part on your rig, check it out, its pretty cool. I always ran my snorkel head backwards in the winter time to limit any...

New BUMPER Concept - Feedback Needed

That's looking REALLY nice! I too like the idea of wrapping the main tube back a little more for better protection. Here's how mine turned out... I can't count the times that I've saved my body and lights by having outer protection, as the trails in Oregon can get tight...

    FYI - Don't do this!

My wife did the 'un-openned soda-pop-can on a hot day' trick in our old Prelude. Man, that was a mess...

PHH & metal tube replaced using re-routed silicone hose

That is some good info... I'll try to determine if 3ft of hose would work... I think that would be pushing it.

    Fuel filter and PHH question

FWIW, I noticed replacing the fuel filter (from the bottom) would have been an easy job during my recent PHH job. I was wishing I had a fuel filter on hand as I was right there! See this for more details...

    New custom bumper - w/ Warn 8274! :)

I use the orange hi-temp RTV silicone sealant... It's good stuff and probably way overkill, but I've always had good luck with it.

PHH & metal tube replaced using re-routed silicone hose

thestunts - I really wanted a black hose so it didn’t look like a garden hose under the hood, but one was not available… :( I just used the constant-torque clamps from 1fzfephh… Fullscale – I just asked for 5/8” heater hose in the hi-temp quality… I’ll try to get accurate measurements for...

PHH & metal tube replaced using re-routed silicone hose

I finally got around to doing the PHH... 180K miles on the clock. Bought the kit from index but decided to replace the metal bypass tube as well with a full length silicone hose. Followed some others' advice and wrapped it around the brake booster. This turned out to be an easy job. Here...
