Delta makes a great lockable center console. It’s not the fastest to access, but is secure and concealed. If you need access to a firearm faster than opening a center console lid I’d suggest either moving or driving something with armor.
I am hoping the factory air box works with this powertrain. As with others I am using this thread as a guide to getting an LT in my 80. I love that Tor is making this adapter as well as swap time supporting our platform.
The concern I have with the factory airbox is all other companies that...
I can recommend relentlessmotorsports. He does great work and is fixing flagship 1’s failures on a weekly basis. He refurbished my LS400 ECU and cluster last year and does great work! You can find his info on instagram of all of his recent repairs.
Fleabay and it came out of Aussie land.

As far as I know that piece was only serviceable with an entire new door card. I brought mine to a reputable upholsterer only after I peeled away the fake-leather and glued the plastic pieces together so it wouldn’t crumble any further.
I wouldn't completely say that the "bead grip" is marketing. After mounting and uninstalling many sets of tires on method wheels vs every other brand for our 80's, I can confidently say that bead grip works offroad and on a tire machine...
I have seen multiple tire bead/sidewalls let go (Tear)...
The last I checked these ABS modules were still available new? With a quick search it looks as though they have become unavailable from Toyota...
I am sure there are rebuilders out there as the 4runner/GX/100 series guys use this type of service all of the time. Good Luck with you journey to...
Just speaking from experience. I’ve bled brakes professionally for many years and my 80 was a conundrum. I went completely through the entire brake system with new parts. Same mushy-then hard pedal symptom. After everything was new and the system had been bled many many times with no bubbles, I...
Well you answered your own question here. If you have removed the side plastic panels and rear carpet that explains your noise.
I know this because I am rolling around right now with all of my rear interior stripped. I finished restoring all of my doors and now it's time for the floors. Yes...
I know some will poke fun and others will provide examples. I personally enjoy when people post up what accessories that they have done over the years and you never know what creative things you have not seen before.

My 80 has never had the engine out nor the trans and does this. It's at 320,000 and only does this hiccup right after a panic brake coming to an almost stop. To me it's almost as if the transmission is wanting to downshift into first, but seems confused or is is just a bit delayed. It also...
Yeah man the more I look at this the more I would pass on this at 5 grand… so yes the rocker is toast as I mentioned, but this damage goes much deeper just based on these few grainy hard-to-see photos.
Please observe the door gaps on the R/F fender to door. Not a good gap. It could be crappy...
That damage to the rocker doesn’t look fantastic…. It has rust already happening which means if you want it to last for many years your going to need someone to actually replace the rocker itself and repair it right. That rust is coming from the inside out which means will only get worse and...
Yeah out of the many potential failure points here I would also recommend checking the front drive flanges. Vibration on slow decel makes me think the flanges are about to strip with a bunch of play. Could be birfs as well potentially.
I have had multiple Solid axle swapped Toyotas that have...
