Ha, there is some truth to that. I love this truck, but sometimes the 20 years of age makes me shake my head. Too bad I love it too much to trade it out for something newer.
I should add that otherwise my locks all seem to work fine. Interior switch works perfectly, and the outside doors work as expected -- passenger door unlocks all, drivers door is once for that door, twice for all doors. So that all seems to work as expected, and the remote seems to program...
I'm jumping in here, since there seems to be lots of smart people reading this.
My issue is with a 94 truck, and I purchased an eBay remote.
It programs just fine - press the green button, get the red LED, press the remote button and the truck honks and confirms.
However, it will not...
thanks. All summer I kept thinking, this is not blowing as cold as it used to. Just looked, saw a good 4-5mm gap off the stop, adjusted it, and it blows much cooler now. Very cool, and 5 minute fix.
Good weekend -- finally gave the truck a much needed full wash and detail inside and out. Usually just getting the pressure wash coin op clean after the mud on the trails the last couple of months. Nice to see how clean it can be again. Sadly, no pictures. Also made a little more progress on...
I don't post a lot, but when I do...I try to add some value to threads, even if they are a bit old, and lack original pictures...
But to add some key words to the search engine here -- wet seatbelt, 2nd row, C pillar, c-pillar, sunroof tube disconnected.
I have been chasing several leaks...
Went camping for just a quick overnighter, but nice to get out in the hills again. Also did some minor cleaning and updating in the interior - some loose pices now fixed, and just a good overall appreciation. Also did some measuring in the rear cargo area for upcoming storage project...good...
Yes, they are the fine pitch, and yes hard to find. I had Fastenal order me a set a year ago I think and had to wait a week or two for them. But they worked great on the factory holes.
My truck came with one from the previous owner, but I had it on my list anyway. I think it is great -- really an smart use of space, and the quality is unmatched. I love it and would recommend it.
Oh at least 125, with a tail wind, and some pushing....
or more like 25, just driving around to say we did it, was not really looking to pack hundreds of pounds of salt underneath and bring it home and invite the rust along as well! Really glad we went, cool to see a part of American racing...
I really cannot comment on the ARB vs. Slee discussion, nor do I want to stir that pot...however, I can tell you that the deer I hit was one tall dude. His back was parallel, if not slightly higher than the hood. I beleive the bulk of the impact was direct on the bumper level, but I do not...
Annoying to post pics here from flickr account -- here is the link while I work on making that easier...

I am overdue on posting this since I actually got home a couple of weeks ago, so just going to get on with it and do a shorter version….
I bought a 1994 from a forum member here (Trapper50cal), and some of you may already be familiar with the truck. I had a 1992, and was getting ready to start...
Yeah, price is going to depend on your specific area. I have had my 92 for a year and love it, but actually will be selling soon, as I just acquired a 94. But the 92 has been the best, most reliable truck I have ever had. 96K miles sounds awesome, but as stated, be sure to do your homework.
I can't beleive I am going to reply to this thread, but I did see something the other day and I keep watching this train wreck....
In all seriousness - what about this product, or something similar in concept to help?
Non Skid Coating – Super Grip – Plasti Dip International
