if your a true music fan and want it to sound killer, Get rid of all factory components and go with a quality head unit.
The Head unit is the most important part, you cant polish a turd! and wouldn't you want ipod, aux, satellite radio, ect anyway
It's the same as a 40 or 60, you could just rotate the knuckles back and leave the mounts. Why would a vendor tell you a free way to do something when they making a product to do it?
Free your minds of the "bolt on" mentality. ;)
i talked to the Dimple Die Fetchist..
If you Opt to Ditch the Dimple Die Plate, this will make these sliders $689
Thats Right UNDER $700 for a Beefy Slider Set with Cat Protection!!
The Group buy never made it off the ground.
Price is now $750 for Everyone, anytime!
We can get rid of the Dimple Die Plate if you like, should make them even cheeper.
PM Me for more info, or to place an order!
Fuses are :flamingo:
Toyota has a great reputation of overbuilding everything, thats why the only rig running stock style components in the XRRA is Ben Swain's Home Grown Racing Rig.. 42's and a V8 on 80 series stuff (Built to the Max) ..
you don't see a lot of any other manufactures...
that is a very good deal on those.. and i like the way they look!, but as always on e-bay Quality may not be near OEM, they may fade, or have leaks and moisture down the road.. Keep your Stock ones!
When did Cruisers ever have wood grain?
I think you should Defiantly do some full color stuff on it, but not wood. Whats the name of the business, can you integrate your logo and maybe a cool texture?
Truck Looks Sweet! thanks for the Review David! I like the look with the slee bumper..
The Cat Protection has a bracket structure that the plates bolt to.. It gives you the option of removing it to clean out MUD..
i think one bolt hole may need to be modified a bit to fit, and the chrome trim is angled a bit more to cover the lights on the Lx's I had an LX Headlight in my old 80 when i bought it
No ATF will leak just the same..
Look for a used box, I think there is one at my local Pick and Pull Junkyard!, make it worth my time and i will go pull it for you! Install it yourself.
Or maybe you can just Get the input seal.. no need to pull the whole box if its just the input seal!

Just like with an FJ40, the best bang for the buck is Chevy V8 Power.. You can Dump all kinds of money into a Yota Swap, or Boosting the I6, the Cost/HP ratio will never be as good as a chevy swap. Drop in an LS2 and go, Im Guessing Better Fuel Economy than stock, twice the power..
