put the F100 springs and the 14 bolt lined up. here's My friend Javier making sure the weld on the perches are good hopefully this will bring my wheel base to a 97" ...and yes the drive shaft will be a short one.

and the original stamped fork of the 265.
What we did, we order the throw out bearing according to model and tranny and did not work/fit on neither fork.
I took it back and ordered...

I had 32's and a tired 2f w/ a 3spd tranny let me tell you it was worthless.
It was very loud. Top speed was 50-55 mph.
I went to a V8,4spd and 37's w/4:11's and what a difference.
I can do 60-65 at 2300rpms w/ no trouble, keep up w/ traffic and pass cars w/ no problem.

I have the same set up but what.I installed the shims and a stock shackle in the back part of the spring
Never had a problem as far as Drive shafts issues.
In the rear I put the 4in springs and a 2.5in hell for stout shackle from cool cruisers. The truck sits a lil' hi'er in front then the back.
