Thats it. There's been a lot of stories about this 55, I think going back to the Land Cruiser Mailing list. Someone needs to take it on it's next adventure.
Thanks for looking it up, TJ.
I've decided to sell the 73 body I was going to transfer to my 70 rig. after doing a few 40s and replacing my roof on my 55, 25 years ago, I don't like doing it. It's dirty, it takes to long, I don't really have the space to do bodywork and I'm getting to old to make it worth the swap..

I was able to get the glass local but they could not find the gasket plus they would not order me the glass without installation AND they would not service my area. the price was about the same.
I got a new one with gasket a couple of month ago from Cruiser corps. It was about 4-500 bucks came shipped in a wood crate and I got my insurance to pay 100% of the cost. Got one for the 40 at the same time. total for both was $941. shipped. Just installed it last week.

Im in. how and where do we pay the kitty. Would it not be better to put the money in a trough? what if the kitty runs away with the money, gets hit by a Jeep, and the guy driving the jeep keeps the money. Just a thought.
They all say preshrunk But if you wash it in hot and dry them hot you get a small percent of shrinkage. These are no different than hanes beefy T or gildan, anvil brand Ts. I hope tha answers your question.
