Terrible photo of a 55 I spotted about 10 years ago on the acreage of some folks that process old vehicles for scrap.
I was just passing through my old town (Golden, B.C.) so wasn't able to get to it sadly. Original interior stuffed with random metal though
looked like a couple front fenders...
I was just thinking about this 55 the other day and wondering its status. Congrats to you both ! In with the new and out with the old (and vice versa). Delighted to see it is alive and well after all these years - cheers !
That is a grim looking 55. That "surface rust" is deep . I owned a 78 parts pig and the metal of that year was awful once the decay sets in. Do yourself a favour - be patient, find a solid bodied pig and have someone well versed in 55's check it over (if you are not) ..the joy of owning an...
Kim, I am glad to see that Wilbur is in good hands. I had the pleasure of driving and working on it prior to your purchase. A lot of your dash, the front grill and that dome light itself are from my old 70, 71 and 78 pigs ;) I still have a lot of 55 parts if you need anything.

it has been around for many years and it disappears and reappears every now and again. There is some great pig content but many of the links do not work.
