Since last up-date, the body bolts have been undone and or snapped.
3inch timbers have been placed between the body and chassis ready for stands to hold the tub up. then roll the chassis out for a clean and a once over.
The 3inch of body lift the blocks have given me is ideal for my build. was...
the last one, also as you can see, i have started on the windscreen. best thing about it is, the rust staying in the windscreen itself so no rust in the lower section under the rubber gasket:D
well it has been a while.

Over Christmas (christmas day anyway) i unbolted the roof.
a few days latter it has finnaly moved itself int the shed :clap:here are a few pictures

And yes you're right, after some resaerch it is an army vehicle. So as a 45 lwb, and as they came out with 3 seats and 11 seats, i woould like to make this into a 11 seater similar to this one.

Just called QLD transport. The deal is... I go and take the FJ45 to the department so they can give it a surrogate chassis number. Before i start or when i am finished they do not care. I gave them the engine number to do a search on and it came up with nothing...... is that good or bad i am...

Ok, Just popped into toyota on may way home and asked them to do some searching. I gave them my model # and it came up as a troopy, indicating 3 seater. So far it matches (the model id tag is correct).
