I have not seen this truck in person but I can say they run a very nice shop. They have worked on two of my trucks in the last year or so. They are a young, honest group of Toyota enthusiasts and do good work. They are extremely busy and sometimes difficult to schedule due to the demand...
Seems like a pretty good price if the body and paint look very good and the interior work was done in an OEM style. That is about $1000 worth of maint work there as well. LX470 is worth less than a Land Cruiser in collectibility only. Might watch out for the suspension system as that can...
Worth every penny to someone who wants a really nice original Land Cruiser with a flawless history an low miles. Seems like they will only go up in value if kept nice.
Yes, that is my concern, I am quite sure that the 100's with low miles will bring crazy money in the very near future. It seems they are the trucks to pay up for right now. If someone "overpaid" 5 or 10k for a nice 80 5 years ago, they are sitting pretty good right now.
I have noticed that most Land Cruisers in the 80 and 100 Series are bringing about double Kelly Blue Book value on the collector markets. Of course it has long been safe to say that KBB means nothing in any collector market, but this doubling scenario is something I have been tracking for some...
Thinking of selling my 2002 that just turned 70k miles. Very nice truck 9.9 paint, 9.5 interior. Thunder Cloud with gray leather. Low miles but lived in Michigan so their is a little crust especially on the rear differential. I have treated and mitigated it so it has never been an issue...
I am considering getting a late model 4Runner for my son. Tell me about your 4Runner in a PM. Might consider a trade + cash deal depending upon condition.
My 2002 is pictured above with only 70k miles.
I just missed a gold 2006 with about 200k on it in Joplin MO at the Toyota dealer. An employee bought it and I suspect it will be for sale soon. You might call the dealer in Joplin and talk to the Sales Manager to find out who owns the gold 2006. It was a very strait truck from what I saw...
