I am very familiar with BAT. Your presence here on MUD will help sell your truck. There are very few trolls on BAT but one or two will freak out about the rust on the running gear. If you had a dry ice blaster center near you, it might be the best $2000 you ever spent. In fact, that is...
Wow, Nice condition and rust free. Hard to find them. Green was the rarer option on these. That milage and condition would lend itself to an easy restoration. Sale would benefit from a nice detail job.
A TLC inspection would also probably add to the appeal. Not sure what they...
Wow looks like a nice original FJ80. I have a restored stock 91 and can say it is a unique and special car in a world full of lifted, wheeled up, FZJ80's out there.
FJ80's in good original condition have been climbing lately.
Good luck with the sale.
Frankly, if it is rust free then the price point may be a tad low. Would have to see photos. Miles are a bit high for it to bring top dollar. Salvage title may scare off a few but really does not sound as if it was hurt. Photos would really help sell it.

That truck checks all the boxes. It looks great and seems to have led a good life so far. It should bring that kind of money if you give it time. In fact I am not sure you could replace and build that truck for $25k right now.

That is a nice strait truck. The body work could be done by a competent body man. I had one tiny spot in that same area on my 40th and was able to repair it before it became an issue. This one does need the entire sheetmetal part installed to be fixed correctly. That paint is a tough match...
well the 93 is actually green but it is also very very well presented in photos and in its overall detailing. The black one is also very original but has had a very poor prep job and has been buffed by an idiot who got too agressive with the wheels and scuffed up the rubber moldings, mudflaps...
Ya know I have kind of tried to lay off a bit lately because of that very reason. I have followed BAT since its early email phase and only found it because I thought I wanted a "cheap" 1990's 911 for a toy. (which thankfully I avoided) I remember the first 80 listed and the days when we were...
Yea, hold firm on the price. The miles hurt it and the cost of the interior, and paint work will be at least $3,000 if done right. The front axle job hired out would also be over $2k so if you did all of that you would have a high teens truck. Miles hurt it but I am sure it is still worth...
Wow! rust free, locked, who cares how many miles are on it!!!! The paint is good and that back hatch can be painted to repair that odd rust spot that looks like it was damaged. Frame and belly look clean. Engine compartment needs a careful detail done by hand. Needs a new set of seat...
Wow I so wish I needed another. But I always say that. Price is probably about right as that mileage brings with it a rash of items big and small so a repair or two and you are well over $20k and mid 20's is kind of where they have settled. Such a nice rig. Love that red.
