Joint Fuji 60 Series Tie Rod End Kit @ FJ Parts LLC

you have to be careful with who sells you the 555 units. The 555 name is one of the most pirated names in China. Make sure the ones you buy are Made in Japan. They will have the logo cast into them and many times, space provided, the word "Japan"

Tool for coolant block drain on FJ60?

If they are flanged with a gasket or copper crush ring ,they probably aren't a pipe plug. Probably just a metric thread with a hex drive. The theory with pipe plugs in dependent on their taper. No gasket required

Belt rubbing on TLC air pump delete bracket bolt

Close is better than rubbing. Close is only an issue with hand grenades, horseshoes and your daughter's boyfriend's hands right?

Tool for coolant block drain on FJ60?

I haven't needed a metric set yet but they are available. I use pipe plugs on air injection rails. It seems 3/8 and 10mm are close enough, as are 13mm and 1/2" They are obviously out there, at least from the big boys. Frankly, I'm not sure the pipe plugs aren't actually SAE . Every air injection...

Belt rubbing on TLC air pump delete bracket bolt

Not personally familiar with their bracket. I've used Man-a-fre's . Try removing the washer? hard to give a definite opinion without being there

    Trail Tailor Offerings

Just call them. the Cruiser radiators don't move fast enough to stock a bunch of them but they get one out very quickly. They'll add trans coolers if you need or change hose fittings for you or other minor modifications.

    Trail Tailor Offerings

Ron Davis are pricey but the fit is good. Probably because Ron is local to me and in the late 90's I dropped a 40, 55 and 60 radiator off to him so he could start building cruiser radiators. There was nothing before that and the factory radiators had trouble keeping up with V-8 swaps in AZ. He...

    FJ62 Replacement Alternate Doesn't Fit - Thoughts?

Unfortunately , according to our local NAPA, they have changed their sourcing to only include a few distributors that only have the cheapest of Chinese parts. MOOG, TRW, Beck Arnley and other brands that had some decent parts can't be ordered in. In those three cases, I've found repackaged OEM...

    60 series with chevy v8

The 4500 is much stronger but but there's no cheap way once you do adapters. the cheapest solution is find a used trans /transfer combo and forget the ranger. With a tbi and a 4speed, no overdrive, the V-8 will run all day at 75mph without strain. You'll still get 15 mpgs on a highway despite no...

we send out a few a year without hoops. The look has grown on me too . Now that we've got cheap winches out there , I suppose winch protection isn't as critical. Winches are becoming one of the cheapest accessories you can buy

I'll have everything for flip kits in a week or two. I'm missing some parts for 60 fronts and 40 rears. The flip kits don't push my physical limits like a 60 rear carrier. I've been building (lifting) heavy land cruiser bumpers, cages, sliders since the late 80's. My back has retired without...

Hopefully I find a person that will pick up the carriers at least. Until then I have three trucks that have to get finished so I'll do what I can for a bit . Maybe gas will get back to 2.00 a gallon. Freight will come back down. Steel will drop back to pre covid and everyone's grocery bills...

It's been 33+ years. eventually I get old and die or the market gets too small. Maybe @topnault will have some luck resurrecting the 40 market here. We need a reason for new vendors to get in and provide the options that keep interest a truck alive. We don't want the 40 and 60 market to go by...
