I sold number 2 to Nicholas Georgoussis 12 months back . had to make room for new Toyota projects, only so much shed space
when I bought the car it had been painted so no sticker kit at all.
If anyone needs a sticker kit for a White Lightning let me know. I just spent a lot of hours over 12 months getting the design right and had 3 sets done which are all ready accounted for by myself and a friend of mine but at least the hard works done. Cheers
I'm chasing some decent pics of the pin striping down the side so I can get some remade also did the original have a turbo sticker on the back. thanks mate
Hey crick60 would you have any pics of your white lightning and if its not to intrusive where is home (without being to intrusive mate. like close enough is good enough)
I have found the answer to the question that I seek from 4x4world.com.au
The only really easy way to tell the difference is if your second box has the transfer case on it - if you measure the diameter of the input gear idler shaft you can tell by:
Pre 10/85 34mm
Post 10/85 38mm
PO...
Because I'm putting it in a 1988 hj60 model to replace the one that's in there. If you look on some web sites the seals say 80 to 85 or 85 to 90 I was not sure if the shafts were different in width as well as the bearing size
Ok Guys I have a 5 speed h55f gear box of unknown origine except it came out of a 60 series, how do I tell if its pre 85 or post 85.????
What the difference please.
