Got my accumulators from Impex today. Order was placed November 12th, so a little longer than some other have experienced. Honestly at $683 for all 4 shipped, I could not care less about how long it took. I 100% will be ordering a second set for my parents LX.
Question for those that have...
2000 LX needs a new APPS. Local dealer wants ~$500 for the part. All the old threads have prices in $200-$300 range, have they really gotten that expensive in the last 10-12 years? I have no problem paying that, just want to make sure its a reasonable price. Has anyone replaced one recently on a...
I have 305/70/16 BFG KM2s on my 2001 LX with roughly 40K miles on the tires. Lately I have been having issues with balancing them.
It seems to be one tire that is the problem. Its on the rear and causes a noticeable shaking at 30-40MPH, as I speed up the shaking almost goes away completely...
Benchmark Soundworks in Alpharetta did an entire system for me in my '01, I highly recommend them, excellent work and really good group of guys.
I have no idea how they figured out the wiring.
This project is worth it just for the noise its going to make.....Turbo V12 sound out of a 105.......:D
Please please please post a video of it running when ever you get it finished
We tow our boat with our 2000 LX. Boat+trailer is about 4500ish dry. With a full tank of fuel and all the crap in the boat/added to it, Id say it comes in around 5000-5500 . I would say it pulls it fairly well. Its stable and doesnt really have any trouble stopping the extra weight. On the...
Dont waste your time or money fooling with the stock Nakamichi head unit. Our 2000 has had it replaced twice, under warranty, the third one is now acting up. Going to replace it with an aftermarket HU, along with the amp and all the speakers at some point.
These rigs are pretty close to...
When I was in the planning stages of upgrading the stereo in my 01, one idea the guys who did install had was to integrate a shallow sub (like a JL W5) into the trim on the passenger side of the truck in the cargo area. I did not go that route, but I still think its good idea.
AHC wasnt built for hard trail use and diff failures are almost non existent with the 4 pinion front diff.....also an ARB is a quick fix for that anyways.
As far as I know these rigs experience very few serious electrical problems considering the number of them in the world and how they are...
So, the factory converter sits behind the DS tail light, and has a harness that runs inside the body to the PS and comes out of the body over the resonator. From the there the OEM 4 pin trailer harness connects to it?
This^^ is how I "think" it is setup.....granted i still havent found the...
