Sorry this happened to you. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but it was my understanding that 4.88s do not make the front diff stronger, rather it’s the air locker / e locker which adds strength to the front diff.
Low miles are overrated. I bought a 1998 with 70k miles 10 years ago and I’m pretty sure I’m the one who did all the maintenance……. Low miles without records is risky. Buy one with decent service history and rock out
Keep the cruiser. Fix as needed…. Do on your own time. None of my issues left me stranded except the alternator.

I will say I also gave an aftermarket head unit too. Crutchfield has an online consult service and they can hook you up.
My order came with all of this. But we did not use the brackets nor the harnesses. I think the plugged right up ( had my mechanic install ) he said it was easy.
