Which Aftermarket Seat Covers to Buy in 2021

Same here. Zero issues and we’re pretty tough on them. Baseball, fishing, Boy Scouts, camping, off road, beach sand, etc. still a snug fit. Toss them in the washing machine and hang dry. My son is 15 and he was in a car seat when I purchased them, so quite a few years…10 of 10, would buy again.

    Sunroof delete?

Work harder, not smarter. Or, something like that.

    Sunroof delete?

Doesn't work. I tried. Not for more than a few weeks, anyway. YMMV, but I'm going to have to clean it off and go a different route. For what it's worth, I would see it as a plus if I were shopping for another 100 and the seller had removed everything and welded in metal. Even with the original...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

Note to self: consider a removable rear panel on the next drawer box. After replacing the subwoofer and putting everything back where it goes, one of my drawer slides decided to be difficult. Had to ask my 10yo daughter for help. She said, “good thing this will be mine in a few years. I...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

This was my first thought as well. Assuming you need your 3rd row in place all or most of the time, rather than a drawer system, a small cabinet the width of the tailgate and anchored to the two d-rings would work well. Tailgate storage, either from a vendor or DIY, may fit those items if the...

    DIY: Sunroof Weatherstrip Replacement

So, there’s no substitute for doing it right…right? But, my sunroof doesn’t open anymore on my 2000 LC and I don’t care enough about that to spend coin on replacing the entire mechanism. Has anyone just sprayed the outside with flexseal?

    Hatch edge trim

Get that junk off of there yesterday. It’s either covering a problem that needs to be fixed or it’s causing a problem that will need to be fixed.

Riddle me this: Who puts a 17 year old vehicle in the shop for $3500 "worth" of repairs?

They do good work, but they’re on the very high end price wise and your calendar usually doesn’t matter. I needed serious work done a couple of years ago and I took mine to Trollhole in Mauldin, SC (2 hours away). I drive by ToyotaTech two or three times a week.

@Exiled I agree. There’s not much need to discuss MPG on a Land Cruiser forum except to possibly uncover a maintenance issue or equipment failure. That’s not why you bought the truck, regardless of vintage. They all suck. Always have. Run what you brung and love it for what it is...reliable...
