    Also in SoCal...My baby just turned 21 and still looks amazing !!! I love the classic design that still holds up. The front end which was controversial has really come into it's own. Maybe the wacky bow tie on the new models make this design seem tame.

    Took a quick trip to The Dogwood Campground outside Blue Jay. While saving my pennies for a new roof rack I went with the uhaul mod to stow all my camping gear. 4 kids and a wife eat up space in the 100.

    I use the power button to get a boost when entering the freeway on a short ramp. It works well. Empty truck not towing anything.

    Awesome man ! I have a 98 single owner immaculate LX470 with 115k miles. When I took it to the dealership the service manager mentioned a friend who has over 500,000 miles on his 98! Love these trucks!

    Hi, The rack was removed when I bought the truck. I don't think it ever had one. There are some plastic/rubber strips over the location of what would be the mounting locations. Let me know if you want pictures.

    I am not affiliated with this listing but it may be time for a road trip. Save yourself some cash --- Here is a listing for a 2004 with 155,000 miles at a Dealership for 15K. This timing belt was done at 80k miles and has 12 pages of Lexus dealer maintenance (attached).

    Came across this document that indicates changes made in the early versions of the LX470 (J100) due to noises and other issues with tilt and telescoping steering wheels.
