Looking for a disc-brake 40 series axle, or 60-series axle, or mini-truck axle for an FJ40 disc brake conversion. Really just need the knuckles and steering arms, so if you've got those stripped off an axle please let me know.
I’ve got a 2004 Honda Civic LX 4-door. Basically 200,000 miles. Snagged it a few months ago for a commuter car. I’m over tinkering with this thing…
The good:
All new shocks. New front struts. New timing belt. New water pump. New thermostat. New drivers-front wheel bearing. New plastic fairing...
Indeed! You interested in a test drive?
We've been addressing a few punch list items on the trucks and now showing them and pushing more on selling them.
I can't tell where this is... Montana Mtn. mentioned but not really confirmed. Also, @OverLand Cruisers made a really cool offer but I didn't see if anyone replied to that...
I have a 1982 FJ45 Troopy and a 1992 FZJ75 Troopy that just arrived from the Middle East. I still need to go over them and ID any punch list items I want to wrap up, but they are for sale. Hit me up in DM if interested…
That truck is a GCC or Aus spec with ambulance doors and factor spare carrier. Makes me think this is not a pic from here in the States... granted it could be an imported truck.
I have an F head sitting outside on an F engine. Unknown status... can't turn the crank, could be head or bottom. It'd need some cleaning up and likely some machining. Yours if you want to come pull it. I can pull the valve cover and snag a few pics if you'd like. Hit me up in DM's with a phone...
AZ could care less what the truck/car is as far as I could tell. All I had to do was show them the classic policy from State Farm... and they proceeded without emissions.
I didn't even try to emissions test my 77 FJ40. Again, I got a classic insurance policy and they proceeded without emissions.
This was an imported car from the Middle East... hadn't registered yet. Couldn't register without emissions... until I just decided to go Classic on the insurance.
That wasn't how it went for me in mid-2019. I tested my Troopy twice... failed both times though it was better the second time... and I just went to classic insurance. Registered as a classic no issue.
I do wish I could have have gotten it to pass. And maybe could if I sank a few hundred bucks...
