    loud chirp

Haven't had a chance to look at it yet. Placed a new O-ring in the original booster and that is what I'm using now, seems ok. Hopefully yours holds up.

    loud chirp

Just replaced the Chinese clutch booster with the rebuilt original. No more noises ...booster works great! The chirping noise must have been a leak in the booster somewhere. Not sure what to do with the Chinese one now, only got 3 months operation out of it

    loud chirp

You've nailed the sound down, that's exactly what I hear. I'll try what you suggest. If the problem turns out to be a vacuum line then I would have to take back any remarks about the Chinese clutch booster, you correct ...there are good & bad Chinese parts out there. Perhaps they are changing...

    loud chirp

No, definately not a squealing belt ...I know what those sound like. This is more like a 1 second chirp then it goes away.

    loud chirp

    Diesel mechanic wanted

I'll stop in there the next time I'm Kelowna. There must be a few shops in the valley that will service JDM vehicles, I know Boldt & Sons in Penticton is one.

Does anyone know of a good & reliable Toyota JDM diesel mechanic in BC, specifically in the Okanagan area? Looking at a clutch job soon along with a couple other engine issues. thanks.

Trailer Lights Logic Circuit & Step Down Voltage Converter

I built this 4 relay cct for my BJ70's trailer wiring and it seems to work well. You might be able to get away with 5A 24V relays but I used 10A. The outputs are switched at 12V so your 24-12V conversion is done with the relays not heat dissipating resistors.
