A good donor is the way to go. My original harness was junk and it was old so I just used the Tacoma harness and swapped everything I could. Upgraded the wiper motor, brake MC, fuse box, ignition. I almost did the whole Tacoma dash but it wasn't a good fit and a bit too round for such a square...
I bet you could used a 2nd gen 4runner which is always in the junk yard cause the 3.slow or 80's/90's camry or corolla. Check all Toyota's from that era.
It's one of the reasons I don't get the whole Overland scene now. All the extra weight and height added to a DD and then when s*** gets technical they are all over the place or get stuck when in actuality it shouldn't be that difficult. You can't always have your cake and eat it too.
I looked at my bumper yesterday and they have the rivets in as well. Good to know all though it's a little high for a proper functioning fog light setup. More like an AUX lights location.
I had 63's on my old Tacoma xtracab. Was such a nice ride on/off road and could carry heavy loads with little sag. Off road it flexed better than stock of course. I though about it for my 4Runner but just went with OME. The length is a bit long and for what I need at the moment it's not...
SummitRacing was similar. It's drop shipped from ARB and they only charge when it ships and shipping is free. I think you get email and post card reminders and for when it ships.
You may have to adjust the float on the sensor till it reads E closer to 16.5. Or carry spare fuel and run until almost empty. See if the gauge adjusts after another fill. I've had a SR5 gauge adjust on me because it came from a 17 gallon 4runner and mine was at the time a 14 gal.
