    Vibration Help

Tires frequently flat spot. But the 2008s had a vibration issue that would become evident while driving up a grade. I walked on one that vibrated badly. I bought one that seemed fine but then while driving home and going up overpasses I noticed the sligtht shimmy. Never did resolve the issue...

    Toyo OpenCountry AT3 Experience?

I went with the SL passenger rated tire Toyo AT3 n 285/70 17 on my Rock Warrior wheels due to being lighter in weight as well as additional sipping. Wish I could have found subjective comparisons between the two in regards to tread compounds performance on ice and snow, I originally i AT2. The...

    Rear climate control fan noisy

My 200 had poor fan velocity on the rear vents. I could see the fan return screen had some dust build up. I never ended up removing the panel to clean fan and discover what was going on before I traded in on a Tundra. Sorry I am of no help to you. As I recall the fan was excessively noisy.

    TRD Pro Bilstein Shocks

If Bilstein releases the 8112 for the Land Cruise it will be one of the best options available. As Brian mentions, it takes the TRD Pro shock with its triple staging and adds dual stage rebounds control. They have only introduced the 8112 this year and the first truck was the Tacoma due to...

Chicago tribune article on 200 series

I had to LOL when I read that article, a V9- really. All too often I have to wonder what has happened to the editors that work for these publications.

    2013 Landcruiser - Cooper Discoverer ATWs - 275 70 R18

s Wow at is a raw deal. It is a bummer that Cooper does not have a trial period. I felt bad returning the noisy tires I had, but I would have not been satisfied with the excess high pitch noise in the tire. Off road tires do make more noise, but when I could not hear the kids in the back...

    2013 Landcruiser - Cooper Discoverer ATWs - 275 70 R18

I took advantage of a 30 day trial period for the Toyo AT2 extreme due to the high pitched whine issue. Switched to falken AT3/W and the noise is much less intrusive. Also gained the snow rating and silica tread compound. Lost e rating and tread depth, although could have gotten the non silica...

TSB for steering wheel vibration - LC & LX differences

I had an 08 that did it. Mostly when going up a hill at interstate speed. Decided to part ways rather than spend the money for a fix that may not cure the issue. Such as an overpass. I tried out another '08 that had it way worse in a bad way. The service record showed the owner tried numerous...

    Pulls to the Right

Not great with suspension. Is this what you are talking about? Toward the front they are the same. These are the rearward two. First is passenger. Next is driver. Thank you! Did you get an alignment after installing the spacers? Do you have a copy of the alignmet report? You are almost...

    Pulls to the Right

I put TRD Pro shocks on my Tundra that Brian sold me. My castor is still low on right side causing a right side pull even after I got a second high dollar alignment at a suspension amd spriing shop, where we got the most we could out of the riht and reduced castor on left side. Although I...

    My 1st 200 Build

Sweet setup. How loud are the Falkeen A/T3W in comparison to your KO2? I put the same size Toyo AT2 on my truck and find them too freakin loud on my Tundra. It is more the pitch that is the problem.

Thanks for looking. Body mount chop is a modification to the body mount to add clearance on the Tundras.

How much clearance do you have between upper control arm and tire at ride height? Sorry if you have already posted this. Can you do a body mount chop to give clearance similar to the Tundra?

    Salsa Red Metallic Color

Congrats on the Salsa Red LC. I had a 08 copy in Salsa red. Traded it to a Tundra as I decided I wanted more interior legroom amd to not part with my '97 LC. Quote me a price for your tundra king suspension as I am looking for a mid travel set up. I have been on the fence between TRD pro...

Yup. Fat Amy gets a body lift.

I am thinking about removing the 1 inch bl from my 80 along with stepping down to 33" tires. Funny how close the bl process is between the two vehicles.

Dealer Says 200 Needs a New Rear Diff??

Agree. Grease solved my front drive shaft clunk issue. Vibrations on the other hand they all do it. 2008 just does it more as it gets older.

    Builds Project 200

Toyota was not trying to make a desert racer when they desiged the suspension. Ford Raptor is what maybe 6" wider than a standard f150 due to its longer arms, this increases the width of the truck and is why it has wider fenders. When you increase the length of the arms they need to be stronger...
