    It's really pretty easy, a lot of bolts and a connector, I think, but it's nothing you'd need a "pro" for. Plenty of YT videos showing how to do it.

    I think this part is pretty common, the self-leveling gets thrown off sometimes when you stop on a mild incline.

    Maybe jack the rear up and slowly turn a wheel to see if it comes out or into view of your camera. Use a few bottles of cheap gear oil to help it along.

    I haven't had them for a few years, so my memory is fuzzy, but don't they have two "tunnels" where you can place a small bar/screwdriver through the shock to stabilize it?

    You can take the opportunity to upgrade the plugs and the magnets, I think @bjowett sells them: Jowett Performance Drain Plugs, also Dimple. Just don't get a big one for the TCase because of the chain. Ex Scientia Tridens

    From my records (cribbed from the OM): Front diff: 2qts GL5 SAE 75w85 Rear Diff: 4.4qts of the same TC: 1.5qts of Toyota's magical TC fluid, or use the Idemitsu if you want

    Thanks. I don't think there was much change in handling. The Pirelli tires were especially hard and I swapped them for P rated Generals. No lift or spacers. I don't think I have a better photo than that one to show the proportions.
