    My Ace Rust Stopper Journey

Got my paint a couple of days ago. I'm now waiting for some time to prep some parts to try it on. Thanks again for the code. It looks really close to the original.

    My Ace Rust Stopper Journey

If i was looking for fast I wouldn't be driving a land cruiser! Yeah, I'm looking forward to diving in to it. Hopefully I can get on it in a couple of weeks. Work on my truck has been slow because of lack of time and mostly money.

    My Ace Rust Stopper Journey

Thanks for that info! I'm not looking for a perfect match either. It's a trail truck so it just needs a little something that is all one color! :D I will be spraying through a HF cheap hvlp too. I was interested in how it sprayed. It looks like you did a good job with yours! If mine is half as...

    My Ace Rust Stopper Journey

Great thread! I'm about to do the same with my truck. Same color and everything. Would you possibly be able to post the Ace paint code for your color? Truck looks great. Good job!

    ACE tintable Rustoleum product

Thanks, I just needed that reassurance. I was pretty sure after I got to thinking about it that it makes sense but the goof at the store didn't have a clue. Off to ACE again with my kick vent. Thanks again for all the info and I will make sure I take pics and post my progress for others to see...

    ACE tintable Rustoleum product

I went to my ACE couple of weeks ago to get it matched and the color that showed on the screen was way different than what the actual color on the kick vent was. I am thinking that it could be the out dated early 90's monitor that they were using just not showing the correct color. What do you...

    ACE tintable Rustoleum product

I'm going to my ace store today. I called and they said they can scan in my color so its off to buy my paint. :D I will post updates as I get them. I hope mine turns out as well as some of the others.

    Roll on paint

I think the reason the rustoleum is a hot item is because of the quality of job you get for such a low cost. For someone like me who has a trail truck that just gets scratched and dented it doesn't pay to go get a nice spray job. I can just touch up my rustoleum and its back to looking new...

Cheap paint...too late to turn back now...

Looks good. Nice work for so cheap. I'm looking for options for my 40. Its just a trail rig so I don't want to drop a lot of money on paint. What part of bama are you from? I'm in Huntsville.
