The perches on it are set up for stock width on a FJ60. If you wanted to use them on a 40 series all you would need to do is outboard your springs or move the perches.
If you need to move the perches you could easily cut the truss off with a torch.
Yes, both are technically mini-truck shafts. I'm not 100% on the lengths, but I could measure them tomorrow or the day after.

My front axle is out of a 89 fj62, they worked fine, I was running spacers to match the width of my rear axle which was out of an fzj80. You would need to have a lift or cut your fenders to get them to fit.
