Missed out on Hundreds in the Hills? Lets talk (Ideas for Southeastern 100 series event)

I live down here because my parents moved here when I was in the 10th grade...then I found a super awesome woman and married her, and she isn't going to move any time soon!

Missed out on Hundreds in the Hills? Lets talk (Ideas for Southeastern 100 series event)

While a pretty good trek for me, Windrock looks very promising both geographically and trail wise.

Missed out on Hundreds in the Hills? Lets talk (Ideas for Southeastern 100 series event)

I've lived in Arkansas the whole time I have owned a 100 series...never been to HS ORV, and only been to Byrd's once on a 4-wheeler...we couldn't figure out where the hell the trails were though!

Do you know anything about the Rendezvous in the Ozarks? I really don’t think it has many vehicles at all.

Do you know how many vehicles they had at this last one? I think it makes a lot of sense to have a 100s section of either this or the cruiser event in Hot Springs.

Missed out on Hundreds in the Hills? Lets talk (Ideas for Southeastern 100 series event)

So I started another thread without seeing this one, but I would like to add my opinions. After reading these quotes, I may have changed my mind on keeping it a strictly 100's only event. @ntsaint is 100% right in his point to note, especially the Rendezvous in the Ozarks. I missed it, but this...

    HIH8 Fishing Spots & Trails

Last there an option to go fishing at Molas Lake. We did a little lake not too far from Molas, Little Molas. Andrews Lake is the same area. Wasn’t too far away, maybe 20-30 minutes. Close enough to go get in some fishing time after coming back from an early trail day. If you plan on lake...

Yeah I think I’m being optimistic when I think we can make it from Fort Smith, AR to ABQ in one day towing a heavy trailer and loaded down with stuff.

Hey guys, if any of you have a Facebook, you can PM me and I will add you to a pretty neat group that I know @marcfj60 is a member of. We need to keep on the DL. PM me or maybe @marcfj60 if he will, to get an explaintion and invite to the group. Also, if you know anybody that would join and...

Don't forget that KOA's have cabins. Every time I have ever stayed at a KOA, it's been a good experience. Clean showers, and clean cabins, and every cabin I've been in has had A/C and heat. I think the most expensive one I've ever stayed at was 60 something dollars. You just need to provide your...

I think that in order to get a good spot, arriving an hour to 30 minutes early is what you want to shoot for. Especially for anyone with a trailer...I DO NOT want to be next to that pond/lake...MOSQUITOES!!!

Texas Cruisers Caravan to HIH 8

HA! yeah I didn't think about that. I've looked some other routes because I HATE I-40, I think no matter what we would have to take all the way to Amarillo, and then it's backroad highways from there. We will more than likely take 40 again though.

Both times we went it was the 550 route. The fact that it hits Durango is pretty nice for that "oh crap" thing you forgot to bring with you!

Even if it's just from Santa Fe to Silverton, we might be able to be in ABQ/Santa Fe at the same time and drive in from there.

We are going to push hard on Wednesday and get to ABQ/Santa Fe to stay the night in a hotel even though we will be towing a camper. From ABQ/Santa Fe we could pick up @marcfj60 depending on what his plans are. Unless he is living in Colorado by then, @DirtDawg should come along.
