   Mysterious ground - revisited

   My wife's '97 had a broken ground wire to the rear hatch, I studied the wiring diagram carefully for grounds in that area - there are none. The ground for the rear hatch passes through that compartment to under the shift console. The grounds I found had large, thick, angular ring connectors...
