Not sure what capacity alternator you have but you may need a bigger one. Specs say 100amp minimum. Full load uses 65amp, so sitting at a stop light and idling in TX may draw more than your alternator puts out at low speed. Dual batteries would help. Curious to see how this works for you.
They are great off road, but they have just gotten so loud that to me they are unusable for me at highway speeds anymore. I have a good stereo and sound deadening installed.
I have the STT Pros on my 80 and will never buy another set. They have gotten so unbelievably loud that I hate driving the truck now. Rotated and balanced every 5k, normal wear, and still lots of tread left. They will be relegated to trail use only.

I did not have good luck with the Smittybuilt winch I bought earlier this year. I recommend testing it right away. First pull on mine while setting the wire rope and it died after 3 seconds. Sent it back and bought a Warn.
