What are you listening to right now???

We are going to see Leftover Salmon in ILM in a few weeks. Luke's playing the night after... very tempting! Rollin' to the club, in my 1964 Caddy. :D

What are you listening to right now???

Dude, we saw him twice at 4848 festival. Loved his stuff! Saw him at the merch tent and got him to sign a record for us. Have already spun it multiple times - great sunday morning chill music! Playing here in Raleigh in November and really looking forward to that.

Brought me to tears. Puts in perspective just how little I've had to struggle in life.

Joe Russo's Almost Dead at Red Rocks, this past Saturday: Really good show... of course every Red Rocks show is an experience in and of itself.

What are you listening to right now???

Wood Brothers show tonight at the NC Museum of Art was SOLID. Shovels and Rope opened and did a great job as well - they came up for one of the encore songs and did a John Prine song around one mic. If you get a chance to check out the Wood Brothers, highly recommend! We've not seen them a ton...

What are you listening to right now???

We saw Greensky Bluegrass at The Caverns a few years ago. Amazing experience. I grew up in Surry County here in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I was surrounded by Round Peak style bluegrass growing up, got sick of it in my teens, and then re embraced it as a young adult. I'm...

What are you listening to right now???

Just finished 3 nights of Billy Strings at Koka Booth here in Cary. They are one of my very top favorite bands right now and Koka Booth is about 3 miles from our house, as the crow flies. Did not disappoint. Over the course of the 3 nights, they did 78 songs and no repeats. The lead...

What are you listening to right now???

I'm sure I'm mentioned this before, and it may sound like a brag, but it's just highlight Chris' amazing voice. We went the the Temple of the Dog tour show in San Francisco about 6 months (IIRC) before he died. That's the one and only time I've seen him in any form or fashion and it did NOT...

What are you listening to right now???

We've seen them about 8 times now and if you haven't yet, HIGHLY recommend. Seriously the best show going in a long time - he absolutely jams. As mentioned, we got turned onto them by seeing them open for Greensky Bluegrass back in '18. He has BLOWN UP since and it's getting to be a hard...

What are you listening to right now???

Really enjoy MKB. Have seen them 4 times now and he's just an old soul. It's almost like a little of Duane Allman landed in this guy. One of my very favorite bands for the last few years, Billy Strings, fronted by no other than William Apostle (aka Billy Strings) and Markus recorded this...

What are you listening to right now???

Way way up there. Chloe Dance / Crown of Thorns, Jeremy, Yellow Leadbetter, and In Bloom would be my "grunge Mound Rushmore" along with Would. That MTV unplugged still gets some play from me!

What are you listening to right now???

In short the Grateful Dead is as much a culture as it is music. I've listened to 1000's of hours of the Dead, especially since getting XM in my 200. They were very "anti-institution", "free mind and spirit", "love and peace" blah blah blah. But, I'll say that unless you have some of that...

What are you listening to right now???

Damn I hate hearing that John, but I know the deal. I'd go insane w/o music. I bet I've listened to 1000 hours of Grateful Dead since enabling sat radio in the 200 a few months ago.
