    I guess to simplify things… I can find the wire that sends + to the ignition system and the + spring loaded switch that energizes the starter motor for cranking only. Almost sure my 40 has an internal resister coil. So, what’s the best way for me to go and not have a high school science...

    Hey Matt, does yours just have 3 wires to it ? That I would use. Big gauge hot +, big gauge - and the wire from the ignition to send the signal to start it.

    Previous owner maintained this 40 very very well. It’s just a wear item that failed. I’ve seen a lot of suggestions from Amazon to denso.

    can you confirm the part # above ? 28100-60070-84 I found it at Toyota parts deal . Com but it’s says it can’t verify it’ll fit. Or what part # you used Dana ?
